Abstract

This book is a detailed practical guide to the steps you should follow when carrying out research on how male violence is represented in literary texts. It provides the academic community with an analytical framework that can be applied rigorously, productively and critically when writing interpretative discourse on literary works that depict violence against women. The guide aims to strengthen literary studies by joining in the mission to transform imaginaries, practices and attitudes, to encour age the formulation of new questions, and to exhort resistance to patriarchal and androcentric dynamics and values.
