Geopolitics, Conflict, and Human Rights (GEOCONDAH) research group The Geopolitics, Conflict, and Human Rights (GEOCONDAH) research group was created to carry out interdisciplinary research with the clear objective of producing an impact and spreading knowledge internationally. The group brings together researchers from a range of disciplines who interact to explore the impact of conflict dynamics and globalization processes on the fields of international relations, public international law, political science, and economics. As a group, the members strive to achieve international excellence and knowledge transfer that reaches beyond the university sphere. To this end, they plan to adopt a joint research approach, continuously interweaving their respective areas of knowledge despite their differences. The intention is to create multidisciplinary knowledge that provides holistic and cross-cutting insights into the problems surrounding conflict dynamics and their consequences for human rights, geopolitics, society and economics. The group structure set out below should make it possible to comprehensively study the dynamics of geopolitics and human rights in relation to present-day areas of conflict, through studies and papers. The group mainly comprises researchers from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC); other members come from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) and CEI International Affairs, affiliated to the University of Barcelona. This structure is strengthened by means of international connections between the group's members and collaborating researchers from renowned universities in Ireland (Technological University Dublin and University of Limerick) and international bodies (United Nations), ensuring the dissemination and transfer of the results of the group's studies. With the above aims in mind, the group takes on a multidisciplinary structure, comprising the following members:  - Dr Daniel Rajmil- Principal Investigator (UOC) - Dr Bettina Steible (UOC) - Dr Mariona Cardona Vallès (UOC) - Dr Miguel Ángel Elizalde (UOC) - Dr Ana García Juanatey (CEI-UB) - Dr Daniel Iglesias Márquez (URV) - Dr. Javier Astudillo (UPF) - Dr. Iraida Giménez (CEI-UB) - Dr. Maria Dolores Vázquez Gómez (UB) - Dr. Ignasi Torrent Oliva (UOC) - Dr. Adrià Rivera Escartin (UOC) International Research Network - Prof. Bernadette Andreosso O'Callaghan (University of Limerick) - Dr. Jon-Hans Coetzer (UNITAR) - Dr. Lucía Morales (Technological University Dublin) - Dr. Maria Chiara Marullo (Jaume I university) - Research students: Abrar Alzankawi (Technological University Dublin)
