The R&I activity of researcher Cristina Mumbardó Adam focuses on the generation of knowledge related with improving the quality of life and providing support for people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. She currently works with two consolidated research groups: the DISQUAVI group – Disability and Quality of Life: Educational Aspects (FPCEE Blanquerna, Ramon Llull University) – and the GTEAAP group of advanced statistical techniques applied to psychology (University of Barcelona), and with the Institute of Psychiatric and Psychological Diagnosis and Care (ADAPP). Her research interests and lines include the development of assessment tools and instruments, and improvement of the quality of life of people with developmental disorders (mainly intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder).
