Dr. Emiliano Labrador is an expert in the field of User Experience (UX) Research and Design, with more than fifteen years of professional experience as a researcher, consultant, trainer, and speaker. He holds a Ph.D. in User Experience (UX) and Gamification, which grounds his deep knowledge in applying innovative research methodologies to digital products. His research focus lies at the intersection of UX, gaming, and multimedia, applying these fields to develop solutions for highly relevant sectors, including video games, automotive, banking, insurance, and pharmaceuticals. Experience in Research and Practical Application Dr. Labrador has extensive experience in UX Research, employing both in-person and remote techniques. This practical experience has been gained in top-tier corporate environments: · As Lead User Experience Analyst and Senior User Experience Consultant at NTT DATA Europe & LATAM, where he contributed to advanced user experience analysis. · As Senior UX Designer at Digital Legends Entertainment, an Activision studio, solidifying his experience in designing interactive digital products. His ability to apply research to product development extends to project management and technological innovation. Academic Contribution to UX and Digital Products At the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), he has served as a collaborating professor in the UX master's program for several years and has recently joined as PDI (Teaching and Research Staff). He has experience in the academic direction of programs focused on digital interaction, having served as coordinator of the MCDEM Master's Program, with specializations in Interaction (HCI), Gamification, and Serious Games at La Salle-Universitat Ramon Llull. Furthermore, he has taught courses on Design and Usability, graphic design applied to interfaces, and creativity.
