Dr. Alba Font Barnet combines teaching, research, and knowledge transfer in the fields of geography and tourism. Her doctoral thesis, entitled "Linking Well-being, Nature and Tourism: A Participatory Approach," reflects her commitment to interdisciplinary and participatory research. She holds a degree in Geography and a Master's in Tourist Destination Management and is actiely involved in knowledge transfer projects in Catalonia and international cooperation projectes. Her career is marked by an innovative, interdisciplinary, and participatory approach that emphasizes co-creation with local stakeholders. Beyond the academic sphere, she is dedicated to applying knowledge to address real-world challenges, providing concrete solutions to territorial issues through collaborative and practical research initiatives.
