Alejandro Paniagua Rodríguez has a PhD in Social Anthropology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and has a degree in Teaching specializing in Primary School Education. He has teaching experience in both compulsory and post-compulsory education, and as a specialist working on socio-educational projects with various non-profit organizations. He has spent time on research stays in the United Kingdom and the United States and has worked as a consultant for various international bodies, including the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris and the Brookings Institution in Washington. His research work focuses on inequality in education, approaches to diversity, teaching innovation and the analysis of public policies.
