Elsa Santamaría López is a sociologist and professor at the Open University of Catalonia. Her research focuses on the analysis of psychosocial aspects related to the world of work. She studies the transformations of employment and work and their effects on life trajectories and subjectivities, with a particular emphasis on understanding the dynamics that produce the processes of inequality, vulnerability, and socio-labor exclusion experienced by certain groups.
