Doctor by the Universitat Ramon Llull with the thesis Modelado de la cualidad de la voz para la síntesis del habla expresiva 2010. Supervised by Dr. Ignacio Iriondo Sanz, Dr. Joan Claudi Socoró Carrié.

His main research interests are the technologies used by smart cities, mainly equipment for acquiring and transmitting information within the Internet of Things (IoT) paradigm, with the ability to capture data from the environment and transform them into useful information for decision-making.  In addition, in the field of teaching research and innovation, his interests revolve around the integration of laboratories within the engineering teaching and learning process.
