Doctor by the Universitat Rovira i Virgili with the thesis La suficiencia financiera de las Haciendas Municipales 2013. Supervised by Dr. Estela Rivas Nieto.

Associated Professor of Financial and Tax Law at the UOC's Faculty of Law and Political Science.  In addition to teaching at the University Master's Degree in Taxation and the Degree in Management and Public Administration, he also conducts research activities in the fields of public revenue, local and regional taxation, tax procedures, corporate taxation and the taxation of the new economy and ICT. Within the TAXBUSINESS group, he currently works on research applied to regional and local taxation as an incentive for job creation and maintenance, and for reactivating economic activity in times of crisis.
