Doctor by the Universitat de Barcelona with the thesis Children and youth victimization detection and reporting from school staff members 2021. Supervised by Dr. Noemí Pereda Beltrán, Dr. Georgina Guilera Ferré.
I've carried out various studies on addressing child and youth victimization at school, including measuring the impact of programmes and actions. I also enjoy innovating in research methods, particularly those that give children a voice, for example by tailoring tests or questionnaires to this age group. My university teaching has focused on the two areas of child protection and psychometrics. I've published several papers as a result of my research, mainly in Q1 and Q2 JCR journals, as well as a book chapter. I've been involved in various national and international competitive projects since 2015, including directing a Europe-wide project. I have also taken part in many national and international conferences. As for teaching, I've taught Psychometrics as part of the Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the University of Barcelona. I've also collaborated in seminars, classes and conferences at various universities (including, among others, the University of Vic, the University of Lleida, the University of Castilla-la-Mancha and the Universitat de València) as part of their bachelor's degrees in Teaching, Education, Criminology and Psychology. I'm a member of the teaching staff on the Master's Degree in Inclusive Education at the University of Barcelona.
