Doctor by the Universitat de Barcelona with the thesis Arte en la MediaCity 2013. Supervised by Dr. Laura Baigorri Ballarín.

Designer of digital interactions, researcher and teacher. He holds a doctoral degree in Fine Art from the University of Barcelona. His work focuses on the intersection between design, citizen activism and network technologies. His research ranges from neuroscience and its relationship with alternative communication to infrastructures based on mesh networks, including the possible futures of internet and the new design paradigms. He is a founding member of guifi.net, the world's largest self-managed telecommunications network, and in 2011 he founded Mobilitylab, a platform for designing physical and digital interactions.
