The main aim of researcher Rubén Nieto Luna's R&I work is the development and study of interventions supported by ICT aimed at promoting and improving health. Consequently, his research interests can be summarized as: 1) the study of psychology variables related to health problems; 2) the development of mobile interventions (using apps and the internet); 3) the analysis of the effectiveness of interventions. He takes part in various activities and projects in collaboration with other national and international research institutions and centres. The results of his research contribute not only to improving people’s quality of life, but also to providing government agencies with better Guidance on the use of ICT to promote health in its broadest sense. He is a member of the UOC’s eHealth Lab research group.
