Marc Compte Pujol holds a PhD in Advanced Communication Studies from the Ramon Llull University (URL), a Master's degree in Advertising Strategy and Creativity (Blanquerna-URL), a Master's degree in Film Direction (ESCAC-UB), a Master's degree in Business Administration and a degree in Audiovisual Communication (UPF). He is full professor in the field of advertising and public relations in the Studies of Information and Communication Sciences of the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), an associate professor at the Faculty of Communication and International Relations Blanquerna-URL and a communication and branding consultant, specialized in the public sector. His research activity focuses on the study of the relationships between organizations and their publics and on the application of strategic planning in communication. He is treasurer of the Catalan Communication Society of the Institut d'Estudis Catalans (SCC-IEC) and a member of two thematic research networks of the European Association for Education and Research in Public Relations (EUPRERA): one on the profile of the communication professional in Europe and the other on internal communication strategy and management.
