Doctor by the Universitat de València with the thesis Elles prenen la paraula. Recuperació crítica i transmissió a les aules de les escriptores valencianes de postguerra una perspectiva des de l'educació literària 2013. Supervised by Dr. Josep Ballester Roca.

Maria Lacueva Lorenz is a professor in the Department of Arts and Humanities at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), with a degree in Catalan Philology and a doctorate (international mention) in Language and Literature Teaching. She has worked as a researcher and lecturer of Catalan studies at different universities in Germany and France. Her research interests are focused on Gender Studies, Catalan Women Writers Genealogy, initial teacher education and teachers’ continuous development. She is also interested in Foreing Languages and Foreing Cultures Teaching at University. She is a member of the European project Women’s Legacy and of SERCLE.
