Doctor by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona with the thesis "La revolució silenciosa prosa i narrativa cinematogràfiques dels ""silent days”" 2007. Supervised by Dr. Jordi Castellanos Vila.

Teresa Iribarren is Full Professor of Catalan Literature at the UOC, where she directs the Degree in Catalan Language and Literature. She is the principal researcher of the Resistant Readings project and a member of the GRESOL research group. An expert in contemporary Catalan literature, she currently studies the narratives of violence, focusing on critical interpretation in terms of gender.
