Doctor by the Universitat de Barcelona with the thesis Analisis de la carga familiar en una muestra de personas con diagnostico dual en discapacidad intelectual 2010. Supervised by Dr. Susana Ochoa Güerre, Dr. Adolfo José Jarne Esparcia.

He has been an associate professor in the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences since 2020. He is the coordinating professor of numerous courses on the UOC's Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Master's Degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology. His research activity in recent years has focused mainly on mental health promotion and prevention in children and adolescents
