Doctor by the Universitat de Barcelona with the thesis Competencias cognitivas y televisión infantil. Una propuesta de análisis y clasificación de series por edades 2010. Supervised by Dr. Antonio R. Bartolomé Pina.

Principal investigator of the Chid Tech Lab, a Ramón y Cajal Senior Research Fellow and a lecturer in the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Spain). Her background is in Developmental Psychology (La Sapienza University, 2006). She has a PhD in Education Communication and Art from the University of Barcelona (2010, European mention). She has led research projects in the UK, Spain and Brazil, funded by the EC (H2020), m-Learning companies and Spanish and Brazilian State Research Agencies.
