Doctor by the Universitat de Barcelona with the thesis Pegilació i vehiculització mitjançant anticossos, de liposomes i d'adenovirus aplicació a la transferencia génica i al transport de citostátics 2002. Supervised by Dr. Joan Carles Domingo Pedrol, Dr. África Madariaga de las Heras.

PhD in Molecular Biochemistry and Biology (2002) from the University of Barcelona, Master's degree in Biotechnology (1995) from the same university and Master's degree in Conflictology (2008) and Master's degree in Planetary Health (2024) from the Open University of Catalonia. Currently an associate professor in the Department of Health Sciences, principal investigator of the eHealth Lab Research Group and coordinator of the eHealth community of the UOC's eHealth Center. Her research work has moved from basic biochemical sciences to translational medicine and public and digital health. She is a professor on the UOC's Master's degree in Digital Health (E-health) and a member of the World Health Organization's (WHO) collaborating center in digital health. She is also an associate professor in the Department of Medical Sciences of the Faculty of Medicine of the UdG where she coordinates the core module on Communication and Clinical Interviewing and participates in other modules linked to public health and research methodology. His research lines are: - Design, implementation and evaluation of digital solutions in health. - Development and validation of tools that allow us to measure and evaluate digital health interventions. - Application of digital solutions to solve the major challenges of global health, especially in middle and low-income countries. - Design and evaluation of the digital skills of health professionals.
