The R+D+i activity of researcher Segundo Moyano focuses on the study of the field of education, from a historical and pedagogical perspective, as well as its links with universities, third-sector organizations, and social policies. The main areas of his research are the training of social educators, job placement and social capital, and the connection between mental health and education. He also specializes in child protection networks and current developments in social pedagogy. He is the principal investigator of the LES (Social Education Laboratory) R&D&I group at the UOC.
