Julià Minguillón Alfonso focuses his research on the analysis and development of open-source educational tools and resources in virtual leaning environments. His lines of work are centred on the development of applications for management, analysis and viewing of data from virtual learning environments and social networks, as well as resources in the open-source teaching processes. He also studies the entire life cycle of an educational resource, from conception, design and creation until it is deposited in a digital repository and shared in a practicing / learning community.   The aim is to broaden the users' knowledge of virtual learning environments, improve the services offered and offer more personalised support, adapted to the needs of each user.
