Researcher Guillem Bautista Pérez is a member of the University of Barcelona's EMA (Entornos y Materiales de Aprendizaje, Learning Environments and Materials) consolidated research group, and is linked to the UOC's eLearn Center. His main research interests are improving teaching and learning processes by means of the integration of ICT, particularly with regard to the analysis of presence-based learning spaces and how innovation should be carried out in these spaces to achieve a Smart Classroom suited to the needs and trends of education at the current time to ensure a socio-constructive, open and jointly-responsible educational process. He also specialises in the initial and continued training of teaching staff, especially in the field of the use of ICT at different environmental and educational levels. He has participated in a range of research and advisory projects in his field, at both national and international levels.
