Victor Cavallé's research interests include Scientometry and reports, indicator systems, information systems, data analysis architecture, applied statistics, RDI, technology and innovation management, competitive intelligence and intangible asset valuation. He has published several articles in international journals, books and proceedings related with these fields. As a researcher, he has taken part in a number of international research projects. Dr Cavallé's scientific research activity began with the portal "Preparation and oral examination of the doctoral thesis" at the University of Barcelona's Department of Library and Documentation Science, where he published his thesis entitled "Matrix-based system of indicators for the strategic analysis of information in organizations" in 2007, under the supervision of Dr Ernest Abadal. It elicited an intense scientific dissemination activity in subsequent years until the present, with Dr Cavellé participating in congresses, research projects and publications in reference journals in his field of knowledge. In general, Dr Cavallé's research interests can be encompassed in the social change line within the doctoral programme in the Information and Knowledge Society and focus on the development and application of analysis methodologies in social sciences in general, the strategic analysis of information, statistics applied to information phenomena, technological monitoring, competitive intelligence, measurement and assessment of communication, analysis of visibility and audience in communication media, etc. The most significant scientific publications in this line are: 1) Indicator systems a.
