Josep Maria Marco-Simó's R&I activity takes place in the general field of information systems and technology management, and focuses mainly, although not exclusively, on the study of processes for providing information services, systems and technologies. Working in both the public and the private spheres, he is particularly interested in the selection of providers of information services, systems and technologies and in how relationships with them are managed. He is also interested in the strategic design and implementation of technological and organizational solutions. Finally, he carries out research on experiences and curricular design at universities in the field of ICT, and more recently on the application of data science to the analysis of social behaviour.
