Dr. Daniel Rajmil is a Catalan political scientist Dr. Daniel Rajmil holds a PhD in Political Science from the Doctoral Programme in Economic and Social Sciences at the University of Vienna. He holds a master's degree in Applied Statistics, a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a bachelor's degree in Market Research and Techniques, background in economics Daniel Rajmil is an associate professor accredited as a tenured professor by ANECA agency and currently serves as core faculty of the Faculty of Law and Political Science of UOC university. His lines of research include Nuclear Policy, Geopolitics and Geoeconomics, Peace and Conflict Studies, and the study of Education and its role in the Transformation of Conflicts. He is the director of the master's degree in Conflict, Peace and Security at the UOC-UNITAR and is a member of the I2Tic-AI Lab research group. Previously he was the Group Leader of the Research Lab Geocondah (geopolitics, conflict and human rights research lab). He is also currently a collaborating member of the European Pedagogical Action Laboratory - Student-Centered Research and Learning (ELaRA). His professional and academic experience has been developed in different countries, having worked in both the private and public sectors, from consultant for international organizations to journalistic correspondent. In parallel to his professional career, Dr. Rajmil has been active in the field of academic research through his participation in several research projects in the areas of conflict and international political economy, among others. In addition to his academic career, he is a short-term election observer for the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
