Doctor by the Universidad de Murcia with the thesis Protección jurídica contra la competencia desleal en el marco del comercio internacional. Estudio de derecho internacional privado europeo 2018. Supervised by Dr. Javier Carrascosa González, Dr. Fernando L. de la Vega García.

Dr. Anna Ruiz Martín is an Associate Professor in Law at the Law and Political Science Department of the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and associate at the Law Faculty of the University of Barcelona (UB). She mainly specialises in EU Private international law, EU competition, unfair competition, CSR, and Consumer law. Her main research focuses nowadays on the emergence of AI, digital cross-border trends and Corporate Social Responsibility from a private enforcement approach. She is also a qualified solicitor at the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM); Secretary and member of the Iberian-Portuguese Chapter at the International Ligue of Competition law (LIDC); Scholar member of the European Association of Private International Law (EAPIL); the Red Académica para el Derecho de la competencia (RADC); the Osservatorio Antitrust (University of Trento); contributor writer at the OXIO OUP (Oxford International Organisations); the Asociación Española de Profesores y Profesionales del Derecho internacional privado (ADEPIP-Xarxa España-Europa); a Editor Associate Member of the International Journal of Law and Society; and a Non-governmental Advisor (NGA) at the International Competition Network (ICN).
