Doctor by the Universitat de Girona with the thesis Identifying factors for the customer delight in tourism industry model and measurement scale 2019. Supervised by Dr. Martí Casadesús Fa, Dr. Alexandra Simon Villar.
Holder of a doctoral degree in Economics, Law and Business from the University of Girona, with international mention. Holder of a master's degree in the Quality Management and Evaluation in Higher Education from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). She also holds a master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science for Management from the University of Holguín (Cuba), and in Computer Engineering, also from the University of Holguín. She is currently a lecturer at the UOC. Her academic activity focuses on courses in the field of quality management, environmental management, occupational risks and social responsibility. Previously, she was adjunct professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona's (UAB) Department of Business and a researcher at the University of Girona, where she is also carrying out her pre-doctoral research with a grant awarded by the European Social Fund and the Government of Catalonia. Her R&D activity mainly centres on consumer behaviour in the tourist industry. She also researches post-consumption behaviours in collaborative economy environments. Consequently, her studies have focused on analysing consumer delight in tourism accommodation and catering services, with the goal of understanding the factors that determine this specific behaviour. Teaching innovation and quality also form an important part of her research interests and academic career. In these fields, she studies students' satisfaction in the university context. Since 2016, she has been a member of the University of Girona's research group in Process Engineering, Product and Production, and continues to work with it today.
