Doctor by the Universitat de Barcelona with the thesis Las normas de exención de responsabilidad por contenidos ajenos en la prestación de servicios de intermediación de la sociedad de la información 2006. Supervised by Dr. Joaquim Bisbal Méndez.

My research focuses on the legal issues arising from the introduction of digital technology and the internet, in the current context of normative globalization, in the following areas of law: intellectual and industrial property, personal data, privacy, confidentiality, the right to honour, privacy and self-image, protection of consumers and users, responsibility of service providers, online conflict resolution, and new forms of crime. This legal discussion and analysis is carried out from an interdisciplinary perspective, which allows for teamwork and cross-cutting enrichment between different departments, but without renouncing the necessary specialisation and in-depth insight required by any legal research. He has lengthy and recognised experience in the analysis of the legal implications of digital technology, having worked on a coordinated basis within the framework of Law and Political Science studies. He is a member of the UOC's INTERDRET (Internet Law) R&D group.
