David García Solórzano's research activity focuses on the study of the characteristics that e-learning tools must have in order to be truly effective in this environment. The main areas of his research are the use of visualization techniques and new web/mobile technologies to aid the teaching-learning process. He also specializes in the development of online learning tools, particularly aimed at enabling student self-regulation (i.e. time management). In this regard, research on learning panels, personal computer systems and the online teaching of skills related to programming subjects stand out. He has also worked on the improvement of telecommunication laboratories. He is member of the EduSTEAM research group at the UPC-UOC.
