Doctor by the City University of New York (CUNY) with the thesis The acquisition of tense and aspect by Moroccan learners of L2 Catalan and Spanish in Barcelona public schools 2006.

My research addresses technology-enhanced task-based language teaching, aural synchronous computer-mediated communication, intercultural communicative competence, digital skills and online language teacher education. I am a member of the UOC’s TechSLA Lab research group.
