Supervised by Dr. Inmaculada Rodríguez Ardura, Dr. Josep Lladós Masllorens.

Gisela Ammetller's research activity focuses on marketing-entrepreneurship dynamics, consumer behaviour and immersive e-learning experiences. She has contributed to several research projects and published articles in influential scientific journals. She is a member of the Digital Business Research Group (DigiBiz), recognized as a consolidated research group by the Government of Catalonia (2017-SGR-368) and co-editor of the Journal of Theoretical and Applied Electronic Commerce Research (JTAER). Dr Ammetller is an associate professor of Marketing and Market Research at the UOC's Faculty of Economics and Business, where she is responsible for teaching digital marketing and consumer behaviour. At the same university, she was coordinator (2006-2008) and academic director (2009-2011, 2014-2015) of the Master's Degree in Marketing and Communication Management. She has taught on master's degree programmes at other universities and has been a member of the marketing programme evaluation committee of the Portuguese Agency for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Higher Education (A3ES).
