Doctor by the Universitat de Barcelona with the thesis Estrategias para proteger el hígado esteatósico frente a la lesión inducida por isquemia-reperfusión 2009. Supervised by Dr. Carmen Peralta Uroz, Dr. Joan Roselló Catafau.
She has a degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Biomedicine. Her main research lines focus on metabolism, biomarkers of ageing and inflammation, biomarker regulation through lifestyle interventions, and women's health and ageing.
