Doctor by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona with the thesis The role of trade partners' cohesiveness in the conclusion of interregional agreements with the European Union 2018. Supervised by Dr. Patricia García-Durán Huet, Dr. Esther Barbé.
Jordi Mas Elias's teaching activities centre on international political economics and the methodology of the social sciences. He has also taught classes on economic development, the European Union and international relations. He is the author of teaching works on data analysis and international indicators. Until recently, his research work focused on regionalism and the European Union's free trade agreements with other regions. Mas Elias has published in the Journal of Common Market Studies.
