PhD in Criminology from the University of Lausanne (Switzerland), where she has collaborated as a research lead since 2008. She is currently the Deputy Director of Research at the Law and Political Science Studies Department. Since 2010, she has served as Spain’s national correspondent for the European Sourcebook of Crime and Criminal Justice Statistics project. Her research interests focus on crime trends, crime statistics, immigration and crime, comparative criminology, and victimization. Since 2017, she has been a member of the Empirical and Applied Victimology Research Group (VICRIM), recognized by the Government of Catalonia and led by Professor Josep M. Tamarit Sumalla.
