Doctor by the Universitat de Barcelona with the thesis Prácticas artísticas digitales y tecnologías de control y vigilancia (2001- 2010) 2013. Supervised by Dr. Anna Casanovas Bohigas, Dr. Laura Baigorri Ballarín.

Lecturer and researcher, specialized in the evolution of digital creation, interaction, and the power relations established through technology. She has developed and implemented new methodologies for creative and educational interactive projects, working with both private companies and public institutions, integrating her background and experience in technology, design, arts, and communication. Lecturer at the UOC (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya). She is a member of the DARTS research group (Design, Art, Technology and Society). Since 2007, she has been publishing the blog Uncovering Ctrl, focused on media art, surveillance, and privacy, which is part of the Spanish Media Art Archive AEMA/SAOMA. Co-editor of Artnodes issue no. 28, she has participated in events related to digital culture such as RE:SOURCE 2023 – Media Art History (2023), ISEA Conference: The Limits of What is Possible: Research in Art and Science (2021), Interface Politics Conference (2016/2018), and bodies_perceptions_design (2018); as well as in symposiums, conferences, and academic events held at LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial, DHUB Museu del Disseny de Barcelona, the University of Murcia, the University of Málaga, and the Autonomous University of Design of Morelos (Mexico).
