Doctor by the Universitat de Barcelona with the thesis Prácticas artísticas digitales y tecnologías de control y vigilancia (2001- 2010) 2013. Supervised by Dr. Anna Casanovas Bohigas, Dr. Laura Baigorri Ballarín.

Bachelor in Information Sciences (Complutense University of Madrid) and PhD in Art History (University of Barcelona). She is a lecturer and researcher, specializing in the evolution of digital creation, interaction, and the power relations established through technology. She is currently a lecturer responsible for subjects on interaction, UX, and audiovisual creation at the School of Computer Science, Multimedia and Telecommunications (EIMT) at the UOC. She is a member of the DARTS research group (Design, Art, Technology and Society). In addition, she serves as co-director of the journal MOSAIC, is a member of the EIMT Observatory and of the committee for the International Equit@t Awards. She has previously taught at design schools such as Escola Massana, BAU, Eina, and Elisava. She has developed and implemented new methodologies for creative and educational interactive projects for both private companies and public institutions, integrating her training and experience in technology, design, arts, and communication. Since 2007, she has published the blog Uncovering Ctrl, specialized in media art, surveillance, and privacy, which is part of the Spanish Media Art Archive AEMA/SAOMA. Co-editor of Artnodes #28, she has participated in events related to digital culture such as RE:SOURCE 2023 – Media Art History (2023), ISEA Conference: The limits of what is possible: research in art and science (2023), Interface Politics Conference (2016/2018), and bodies_perceptions_design (2018); as well as in conferences, congresses, and symposia at CERN, LABoral Art and Industrial Creation Centre, DHUB Design Museum of Barcelona, the University of Murcia, the University of Malaga, and the Autonomous University of Design of Morelos (Mexico).
