Full professor Historical and Archaeological Heritage PhD in History, specializing in Prehistory, Ancient History and Archaeology. University of Barcelona (UB) member of faculty teaching Prehistory and Protohistory from 1991 to 1998, member of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) since 1998, director of the faculty's Humanities programme from 2004 to 2009, and a member of the team teaching the joint master's degree in Cultural Management (UOC, UdG, UIB). Since 2013 she has been the director of the joint university master's degree in the Ancient Mediterranean (UOC, UAB, UAH). She teaches and carries out research in the following fields: protohistory and archaeology; historiography of archaeology; teaching, digital learning and ICT; education, heritage and ICT; cultural heritage and ICT; heritage in conflict in the 20th century; interpretation of the Spanish Civil War, and the communication and dissemination of heritage. From 1999 to 2004 she was joint director of the Òliba research group. From 2004 to 2014 she was director of the Museia research group, devoted to research into museology, museography and heritage. Currently, she is a member of the UB's Protohistoric Archaeology Research Group (GRAP), a consolidated team in which she carries out research related to safeguarding historical archaeological heritage in armed conflict, protohistory and heritage management. Among other studies, she has published Musealizando la protohistoria peninsular (2019), El tesoro del Vita. La protección y expolio del patrimonio histórico-arqueológico durante la Guerra Civil. (2013, with Francisco Gràcia), Salvem l'art! La protecció del patrimoni cultural català durant la guerra civil (2011, with Francisco Gràcia), El Instituto Arqueológico Nacional e Imperial. Un intento fallido de reorganización de la protección y estudio del patrimonio arqueológico en 1938 (2010, with Francisco Gràcia), Patrimoni digital. Un nou mitjà al servei de les institucions culturals (2007, with Cèsar Carreras) and Educació, museus i TIC (2009, with Jaime Sprünker).
