Comparative study of the IITO Industrial safety and secured wireless network protocol stack
Of European scope.
This project performs a comparative study of the IITO Industrial safety and secured wireless network protoco stack (6TiSCH) by Analog Devices (SmartMesh solution) and the TI SmartNet stack. The analysis aims to challenge both technologies and determine key performance indicators --from a user/integrator perspective--- in terms of energy Consumption, reliability and network capacity. Other important indicators such as security will be also qualitatively evaluated. Finally the study will provide assessment in terms of practical aspects such as provided toolset and ease of use.
