Reversible video watermarking system for real-time applications

The WaterVideo technology consists in a reversible video watermarking system in the H.264 compressed domain. This technology can be applied for high definition video an audio from different sources, such as Blu-Ray discs, streaming through Internet (Vimeo, YouTube, iTunes), web software (Flash Player, Silverlight), broadcasting services, videoconferencing, and security systems. The funding granted for this project will be devoted to different activities, including a) hiring a predoctoral researcher in order to complete the development of the pre-prototype and carrying out the laboratory experiments; b) submitting a patent application; c) conducting a market analysis and a commercial explotaition plan; and d) disseminating the idea by means of a demonstration of the pre-prototype in a specialized international exhibition.
