Finding the right moment and quantity to restock silos, in order to optimize the delivery routes and silo's inventories

The aim of this project is to design and implement IBBSM in order to optimize the feed supply chain and completes the SFIP to being applicable for feed industry. It provides solutions to mitigate uncertainty of demand, reduce transport costs, and help smooth the peaks of production allowing smaller buffers of capacity and inventory and focuses on several goals such as: ingredient purchasing, feed ordering, production, delivery schedules and storage and finally research on collaborative supply chain strategies.
