Network VERTEVALLEE - Development of Hybrid Methods and Algorithms with Environmental Criteria in the Sustainable Management of Transportation at the Pyrenees
Of Regional scope.
The two main research and complementary goals of this network are: (1) Conjoint analysis of the main activities of road transportation and their impact over important areas of environmental interest such as the Pyrenees (UPNA and ENAC), and (2) Development of new hybrid algorithms to solve the routing problems with environmental criteria (UOC, UPC and UAB). Therefore, the main goal of this action is the design of a research team network from different universities located in the Work Community of the Pyrenees-CTP in order to maintain research contacts with the intention of writing a future proposal of research project to be submitted either the CTP or the European Union research programmes. To this end we plan to benefit from a COST action, such as Cost Action TU804 SHANTI ¿ Survey HArmonisation with New Technologies Improvement http://www.cost.esf.org/domains_actions/tud/Actions/SHANTI, in which some of the teams of the network are already cooperating.
