Project 2023 LLAV 00101 FibroVR+
FibroVR+:a Virtual Reality program for people with fibromialgia
Of Regional scope.

Although pain is an adaptative phenomenon, signalling that there is something wrong in our body or that we should avoid something that can harm ourselves, when it lasts over time it can be problematic. This is what we refer to as chronic pain (usually persisting for more than 3 months), that can affect up to 25% of the population; it is one of the principal problems in public health worldwide due to the economic costs it generates, the way in which it affects people’s quality of life and the significant repercussions it has on people’s work, family and personal lives. Although the tool is directed to people with fibromyalgia, it could be easily adapted to any other chronic pain problem (extending its potential benefits). We want to add by c...
